DESCRIPTION
The AWS Support team helps customers successfully adopt AWS technologies through a thoughtful combination of people and tech. We focus on delivering proactive and persistent value for customers by using technology to scale and augment our people. We are building out a continuum of offerings from customers looking for help with the basics, launching their first production applications on AWS or needing help operating their infrastructure. Our team seeks to align product, technology, operational practices and people to help our customers achieve success running on AWS by applying a financial lens to what we do.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong technical background, be detail driven, excellent problem-solving abilities, strong business judgment and demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams. We are looking for leaders with proven ability to execute both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on new, ambiguous projects. The candidate should be customer-focused with a passion for the cloud.
What you will do:
Build out customer forecasts, profitability and RI forecasts.
Perform cohort analysis, forecast contract renewals and own the revenue forecast for overall Support.
Serve as a key finance partner supporting the AWS Support team providing financial support and business insights
Lead the development of financial models that aid in key decision-making
Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed and present findings to senior management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent and a minimum 7 years of finance experience, OR masters degree and 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MBA or Masters in a related field
Advanced knowledge of SQL
Ability to present ideas to a group of senior level managers
Comfort with ambiguity and creative problem-solving
Advanced analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
