Career Opportunity:

Provide direction and leadership to the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) maintenance technicians and coordination with electrical engineers in the improvement of E&I reliability in support of mill policies and procedures. Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities by assisting in the development of long-range plans, establishing priorities, scheduling downtime, leading and initiating efforts in purchasing maintenance materials and spare parts for the mill. Support safety effort by leading the accident investigations for E&I maintenance technicians.

What you need to Succeed:

Must minimally possess: 4-year degree in a related field with 5 years industrial experience or 10 years industrial experience, and 2 years of supervisory experience. Excellent computer, interpersonal communication, teamwork and leadership skills required. Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving ability and ownership for results. Experience in the area of preventive and predictive maintenance and the full utilization of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMSS) software to manage equipment reliability. ISO 9001 or equivalent quality program experience required. Strong safety mindset with demonstrated success in leading a safety effort in a functional area.

Preferred Requirements:

Paper mill experience is preferred to include equipment for raw materials, stock preparation, paper machine, winders, roll handling and finished goods. NFPA knowledge and experience. Lean Six Sigma experience. Experience in a non-union, team-based, high performance work environment.

How you will impact Westrock:

o Lead the mill effort in developing, implementing and maintaining safe policies and procedures in the E&I Maintenance area and actively participate in establishing and maintaining safe operations in all areas of the facility.

o Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities by assisting in the development of long-range plans, establishing priorities, scheduling downtime, leading and initiating efforts in purchasing maintenance materials and replacement parts for the mill, as well as reviewing submitted Requests for Additions, Revisions and Deletions (RARDs) for validity.

o Full Electrical and Instrument Maintenance responsibility including decision making in safety, quality, cost, production, training and housekeeping.

o Work with the Reliability Engineering Coordinator and assist the E&I maintenance team in the review, upgrade and execution of Preventive Maintenance Tasks for equipment reliability.

o Direct the effort in trouble shooting repetitive problems and validating corrective actions. Facilitate and participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) activities.

o Generate purchase order requests in the E&I area, such as contractor services, for approval by the Maintenance Manager.

o Assist in the development of the outage schedule.

o Assist the Business Unit Leaders/Specialists and Senior Maintenance Technicians in setting weekly maintenance priorities from the backlog and create a weekly schedule with assignment of resources.

o Review and approve regular and overtime hours for E&I maintenance technicians.

o Organize and Facilitate the E&I Home Station Group Meetings.

o Support MTAC and ensure training is concise and thorough

o Support team members in addressing performance issues through the Performance Issue Resolution Process.

o Support Senior Maintenance Technicians and Production Maintenance Coordinator in maintaining an accurate maintenance backlog.

o Collaborate with Maintenance Planners, Maintenance Coordinators, Maintenance Technicians, Purchasing and production leaders to establish priorities and execute plans
