Team US Accounts drives the direct billing revenue for Team US and is responsible for the majority of the revenue driven through Local Original Equipment Manufacturer (LOEM's). You will work on Intel's newest technical challenges, implementations, and design wins across Networking & Storage technologies. If that sounds interesting, this may be the job for you.

You will be responsible for representing and selling products on behalf of every Intel business unit to accelerate revenue growth, drive Intel technology enablement and close designs.

This is a commissioned sales position for a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) within the US Territory - Networking and Storage Segments. The FAE will support multiple Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) customers, driving the design win/design-in activities, roadmap discussions, and long-term customer success. The FAE will be the technical partner to Field Sales Engineer (FSE) representing Intel to our customers, chartered with winning the next generation of Intel-based designs.

Responsibilities include growing Intel data-centric evolution through multi-segment sales, including, but not limited to Servers, NIC's (Networking Interface Cards), Embedded Roadmap products, SSD's, and Wireless networking products. Your job will be to help key OEM's take advantage of Intel's latest architecture/features, develop a deep understanding of the hardware and software ecosystem within networking and storage deployments.

* Post-COVID, you will be expected to travel less than 25% of time.

* Have outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence customers at multiple levels.

* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects (i.e., requirements management, project planning, statement of work creation, risk management, engineering program updates).

* Have excellent time management and organizational skills are needed in order to prioritize tasks in an interrupt-driven environment.

This position is located in Santa Clara, CA. Specific responsibilities:

* Build strong, influential technical relationships with the customer (via face-to-face and remote interaction) in order to secure commitment for Intel Architecture designs

* Communicate the value proposition for future CPU and platform families, within the context of Intel's data center platform vision

* Drive customer requirements back into Intel's roadmap and product planning processes

* Work with a variety of partner organizations across DCG, DSG, NSG, SSG and other third-parties to help drive customer solutions

* Host collaborative discussions between Intel design teams and our customer. Coordinate goals, objectives and specific action plans

* Collect and analyze competitive data, and use it to drive winning sales strategies.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

* Understanding of system design and development activities for Intel Xeon processor-based platforms.

* Capable of working across geographies, time zones, companies, and organizations. Willingness to travel.

* Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence customers at multiple levels.

* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects (i.e., requirements management, project planning, statement of work creation, risk management, engineering program updates).

* Excellent time management and organizational skills are needed in order to prioritize tasks in an interrupt-driven environment.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree Computer Engineer, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineer (or equivalent technical knowledge)

* 5+ years of experience in engineering or applications support for server CPUs, boards and/or systems.

* Previous customer-facing role

Preferred Qualifications

* Master degree in Electrical Engineer preferred.
