Responsiblities:
* Responsible for new system development activities related to battery systems utilizing structural plastics and other lightweight materials
* Lead overall requirements traceability, system architecture definition, interface management, and risk management
* Generate subsystem and component test requirements and work with test team to plan, execute, and evaluate test events for innovation projects
* Strong focus on battery enclosure system development with the ability to develop IP protected solutions
* Ensure establishment of specifications and procurement of equipment for prototype production
* Support design development, prototyping, validation and industrialization teams within Kautex to optimize and balance requirements to develop the best overall solutions.
* Develop and support the roll out of systems-based thinking and requirements to the customer business units
* Support EHS activities within the department to ensure both a safe workplace and adoption of safe working practices
