General Summary:

This position requires significant technical expertise and relies on increasing business knowledge. The scope of the position requires knowledge of all reporting and analytics options and working across platforms to deliver self-service reporting options and insight analysis. While some review and coaching by a manager is expected, this individual will take initiative in identifying and executing approaches for analysis to support business issues. The individual in this position will participate in cross-functional initiatives to gain increasing business exposure and knowledge.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

* Partner with HR Functional areas, HR Business Partners, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to understand business processes and how information delivery can change, support, or automate those processes.
* Deliver insights that customers can use to drive strategy, actions, and deliverables for particular business areas (may require the use of statistical, data mining, predictive models, and/or optimization algorithms)
* Develop self-service reports for customers that they will use and work with them to understand which reports they use and which need to be improved
* Manage projects that require multiple resources, dependencies, and ensuring objectives are delivered on time
* Be the subject matter expert in the governance of one or multiple reporting systems and partner with IT on maintaining those systems or developing new solutions (including researching new technologies, analysis methods, or best-in-class practices)
* Strategize on how to deliver best-in-class development by designing templates for information architecture, process development lifecycles, customer resources, etc.

Job Specifications

* Bachelors degree required (Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, I/O Psychology, Finance, or equivalent)
* A minimum of 5+ years hands-on experience in consulting and report design/analysis
* Strong problem solving, programming and project management skills.
* Hands on experience with current technology such as: SAS, R, Python, SQL, Qlikview/Tableau/PowerBI
* Preferred experience with NLP, Workday and Qualtrics
* People/HR Analytics experience preferred
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to mentor and train peers in the consistent use of systems
* Ability to partner with customers on negotiating needs, interpreting requirements and translating results for analysis
* Strong organizational skills and ability to work under time pressures.
* Ability to learn new technologies quickly and use in creative ways to deliver requirements
