Responsibilities

Assists the unit with providing safe, competent basic nursing care for patients in accordance with approved competencies, facility policies/practices, standards, philosophy under the direction of an RN. Provides support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Completed the first semester at an accredited Nursing school (ASN or BSN program)

Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment

Current American Heart Association BLS required at time of hire.

Prior CNA experience preferred.

Concurrent enrollment in a RN Nursing program or a graduate waiting initial NCLEX

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills

Recommendation from a School of Nursing Instructor

Proven work history of excellent customer service skills required
