Business Development, Microsoft Surface

Overview

The Surface Business Development Rep will proactively manage the Tier 1 accounts for Surface. This list is predefined by Microsoft. The employee will serve as the Tier 1 partner primary point of SYNNEX sales, top partner contacts, and Microsoft channel support teams.

Be Inspired By the Work You'll Do

* Meet and exceed topline revenue and net gross margin goals by managing top SYNNEX Surface resellers, direct market resellers (DMRs), and authorized device distributors (ADRs) on a consistent basis
* Must quickly ramp up on Surface product family including Go, Laptop, Pro, Book, Studio, and accessories (and eventually Hub and HoloLens)
* Must attain intimate knowledge of Surface pricing programs, programs, rebates, public contract vehicles, and how they work in SYNNEX system to support sales/opportunities effectively
* Above average customer service and support of top partners and SYNNEX sales support teams serving those top partners / under 2-hour email response times during business hours
* Proactive communication and awareness to top partners on Surface news, product launches, product updates and information, events, promotions, etc.
* Proactive efforts to discover, identify, and generate leads with top partners / maintaining recurring forecasting calls with top partners / proper documentation and tracking of pipeline / persistently updating close dates, revenue amount, health, and next steps
* Work closely with product management to align sales opportunities with available inventory / also responsible for advancing backorders and pending orders / expired SCMs

Your Passion is Sparked By:

* 2 4 years of related partner sales required (with some Device OEM experience).
* Device OEM experience required. Microsoft Surface experience preferred.
* Excellent communication skills in management conversations, presentations, and email.
* Demonstrate continuous learning, intellectual curiosity, and improvement in professional impact.
