Position Overview:
Freddie Macs Finance Division is currently seeking a Financial Controller Senior Analyst to be a member of the Single Family (SF) Reporting team. The SF Reporting Group is responsible for the preparation and analysis of the SF Segment Results for SF consolidated financial reporting package, business performance review (BPR) and other internal /external reporting.

* Assist with various requests related to external disclosures for 10Q/10K/Press release
* Assist with the Segment Business Performance Review slides
* Assist and support ongoing SOX compliance activities
Your Impact:
* Design and prepare certain slides within the SF consolidated financial reporting package
* Run SAS programs and sql queries for cash window buy up buy down basis recognition and related amortization, Unsecuritized loan rollforward process; Cash Window loans Analytics, book year reporting process
* Provision timely, accurate and reliable financial information
* Maintain a positive, can-do attitude in the face of adversity while providing resolutions to an extensive range of complicated issues via innovative, detailed, and practicable solutions
Qualifications:
* At least 5 years of financial reporting or financial analytics experience
* Previous accounting experience and / or knowledge in GAAP
* Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, related field or equivalent work experience
* Proficiency in writing queries in SQL and/or SAS
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word
Keys to Success in this Role:
* CPA certification or candidate preferred
* Experience with SAS programming
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities in support of team needs; flexible
* Knowledge of Single Family data and the Corporate Data Warehouse
* PeopleSoft financials, nVision, Hyperion
