Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist --to be based in Flower Mound, Texas --will work with the Recruiting team to help facilitate interviews and ultimately bringing diverse talent onto the Stryker team. The mission of the Talent Acquisition Specialist is to ensure all Stryker candidates receive a positive recruiting experience regardless if an offer is extended. The scope of the position is support of recruiting efforts for Stryker.

Responsibilities include:

* Candidate Care
* Will schedule on-site interviews for candidates and hiring managers.
* Will schedule travel for candidates on-site interviews.
* Will work with travel vendors to organize the candidate travel and stay.
* Will help control the costs associated with travel.
* Will Manage candidate expenses including getting the expenses to the correct department.
* Will assist during on-site Candidate Care (ensure interview schedule followed, candidate feedback, on-site point of contact.)
* Will use company and process knowledge to manage candidates while on-site.
* Will represent Stryker during the candidates on-site interviews.
* May support career fairs and general recruiting efforts as required.
* Will aid in logistics of internal mobility interview days. Including but not limited to day of prepping office rooms, setting up catering, setting up candidate travel and stay, showing candidates around, ensuring the day is running on time, tracking spending and expensing to the correct department.
* Recruiting
* Will assemble all Recruiting visual materials for both internal and external candidates.
* May have some recruiting opportunities for entry level or interns roles under recruiter guidance.
* May need to develop a collaborating relationship with hiring managers to meet their staffing needs
* May need to participate in Strategy Session meetings with Recruiters to explain the CCS process.
* May source, screen and interview candidates to fill currently open positions.
* May evaluate, interpret and explain talent based selection tools with/for Hiring Managers during the recruiting process.
* Compliance
* Will be responsible for correctly following the CCS and associated recruiting processes.
* Training
* May participate in interviewing training and techniques.
* Will work with Recruiters to become well versed in the application of assessment tools.
* Will work with new Candidate Care Specialists to train them to CCS standards.
* Human Resources - May participate in new hire orientation.
* All other duties as assigned by supervisor. Including but not limited to; data analytics of various Recruiting metrics as well as team engagement activities.
* May work on related projects for process improvement or cost reduction.

Essential Functions:

* Should be able to and comfortable communicating to groups of people
* Must be able to communicate telephonically and via email.
* Must be able to generate, understand and explain detailed company policies and procedures.
* Must be able to analyze and resolve non-routine human resource and business issues of basic scope using independent judgment.
* Ability to prioritize work and keep detailed, accurate and confidential information and records.
* Must be able to review printed materials.
* Must be able to operate common office equipment (e.g. calculator, PC, telephone, etc.).
* Will work with Recruiters to source, qualify and interview candidates for open or strategic positions within the division.
* Will coordinate interview schedules for candidates and offer letters for potential new hires. This work will include travel, hotel accommodations, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelors Degree required.
* Must be able to manage time, projects, stress, and conflict.
* Must possess strong interpersonal skills including oral and written communication.
* Must be able to multitask and bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervision.
* Must be able to travel 5-20% of time.

PHYSICAL/SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

* May involve prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling as appropriate.
* May be required to move materials up to 50 pounds, reach, push, or pull in order to accomplish job accountabilities.
* Coordination of eye, hand, and/or foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination/memory, reading ability, and memory retention ability.
* Requires use of safety glasses in designated areas.
* Closed-toe/heel shoes must be worn on the production floor; safety shoes are recommended.
