Global Tools and Storage (GTS) located in Mission, TX is seeking a Technician Assistant whom will be responsible for servicing and performing preventative and electro/mechanical maintenance to operational equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but not limited to:
* Provide support to Maintenance Technicians, Engineers or other functional areas as required.
* Basic troubleshooting of machinery and equipment problems in the plant.
* Adjust process conditions as required to maintain quality/production levels.
* Work with Manufacturers and/or Suppliers service departments (machinery or equipment) to minimize machine down times.
* Manage Plants Preventative Maintenance program.
* Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) events as needed.
* Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
* Maintain a clean, safe and healthy work environment.
* Other duties may be assigned to meet the business needs.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Career of Electromechanical Technician (Preferably)
* Previous experience of 2 years in maintenance department (Preferably)
* Knowledge in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Power Point, AutoCAD a plus
* Bilingual (English/Spanish).
* Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and other manuals and documents.
* Availability to work overtime.
* Interpretation of electrical ladder diagrams. (Preferably)
* Basic knowledge of Hydraulic, Pneumatic and hand tools.
* Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be able to work 12-hour shifts (Day or Night) and overtime.
