How will you make an impact?
The Software Architect role requires technical expertise and the execution of Agile development methodologies to design and deliver innovative solutions for rapidly-evolving markets.
What will you do?
* Collaborate with product team to address market opportunity to define new products
* Participate in high-level architectural design sessions
* Review computer system capabilities, workflows, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system
* Lead work on projects that may involve interfaces across diverse hardware platforms, with multiple programming languages, development tools or data access tools
* Analyze current operational procedures and identifies opportunities for improvement
* Study existing information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and develop new systems to improve production or workflows as required
* Implement or modify procedures and/or processes to solve business issues considering alternatives and limitations, environment and desired results
* Contribute to prepare technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of program development
* Comply with company s Global IT Policies & Procedures
How will you get here?
Education/ Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, equivalent work experience acceptable
* 7 years of experience with C and/or Java
* Understand and abled to apply SOLID object-oriented principles.
* Understands and applies Agile software development practices.
* Strong skills creating software using Microsoft .NET Core.NET and .NET Framework, specifically: XAML, LINQ, Generic, Threading and Immutable system libraries
* Able to assume and complete assignments independently.
* Ability to explain and champion technical concepts to a broad audience and a lead a team
* Strong analytical and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
Desired Qualifications:
* Strong user experience (UX) background
* Proficiency with various UI frameworks like: WPF, Vue, React, Angular, and Bootstrap
* Proficiency with languages used to create web applications like, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
* Experience with MVVM application architectures
* Experience with multi-threaded architectures
* Experience using Azure DevOps pipelines and/or GitHub Actions to automated build, test, and deployment.
* Familiarity with BDD, TDD, and other automated testing patterns
