The Director of Video Content Strategy is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the video, and post production groups of the Content Production function at HSN. This includes developing strategies and tactics to fulfill HSNs video production, video editing, motion graphics, and audio needs for use across all customer touch points including on-air, hsn.com, social, mobile, OTT and developing platforms along with non-owned channels.

The Opportunity

To support these efforts this role is accountable for establishing long-term strategic goals and objectives, leading projects, the evaluation and continuous improvement of workflow processes, training and development of team and providing creative direction and resources. This includes the creation and management of budgets as part of e-commerce, Content and Creative leadership team and the HSN business unit goals. Responsibilities include aligning content goals and execution with Brand, e-commerce, Broadcast, Social, and other internal departments strategies.

Critical to the role is the ability to create alignment between the companys short-term needs and long-term business goals of elevating content, enhancing the shopping experience, and expanding HSNs audience. To enable the elevation of quality through staff skill development, technology enhancements and challenging legacy norms, this role will directly partner with lead of Creative Operations.

What You Bring

* Well-rounded portfolio of work demonstrating the ability to lead video content creation across platforms supporting multiple product categories and marketing strategies.
* Bachelors Degree or higher in Communications, Journalism, Video Production, Film, or related fields
* Minimum of 10 years creative leadership experience with passion for new technology.
* Expert knowledge of non-live video and film production from concept through completion.
* High level of fluency in live television production.
* Ability to provide concreate creative direction defining success for a large team
* Proven experience leading large diverse teams with a focus on culture, engagement and optimizing team productivity.
* Dynamic, creative personality, effectively engaging in influencing the organization.
