POSITION SUMMARY:

Informed by data and insights, the Director of Digital Analytics, will oversee a team that articulates what best-in-class looks like through measurement, analytics, benchmarking and shares learnings broadly. We are looking for a talented leader, who can see the business through the customers eyes.

This position will be accountable for ensuring all key performance data is captured, and to provide actionable insights to drive ongoing improvement in sales, customer acquisition, conversion, average order value and retention. The Director will provide strategic recommendations, research and implementation oversight of new analytics technologies. Our ideal candidate has a combination of superb analytical capabilities, outstanding business insight, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

Key Responsibilities:

* Expert at identifying trends in data, drawing conclusions and making actionable recommendations to key stakeholders within the organization
* Develop and standardize operational reporting that enables proper site execution
* Identify market trends and asses competitive digital landscape around product pricing, promotional strategies, and shipping/return models
* Develop sales trend reporting across product categories and channels of distribution
* Implement and on-going production of a standard set of dashboards and scorecard reports with actionable KPIs based on agreed SLAs with business organizations
* Ensure analytics provide clear visibility into the impact and value of new features and functionality
* Support the continued enhancement and evolution of our analytics capabilities to a best-in-class level. Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations and drive new analytics initiatives that contribute to business goals
* Coach analysts in analytics methodologies, strategies, career development and training
* Provide guidance and lead training sessions to cross-functional on digital analytics best practices to promote dashboard adoption, monitor usage, gather feedback, and maintain alignment
* Assist in developing lower friction, higher performance and error free experience by delivering information, insight, and enterprise level reporting throughout the customers journey.
* Design and create daily, weekly, monthly, yearly Digital dashboards to help monitor performance for all key indicators
* Use various analytics tools to track, report, and analyze website performance, customer trends and visitor behavior
* Define business requirements, implement and test all data requirements to support accurate Adobe Analytics implementation.

* Design research initiatives and analysis that answer specific questions about marketing programs, customer behavior or other business initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

* 8+ years of direct and hands-on eCommerce and analytics experience providing solutions at scale in a large global company
* Expert-level knowledge of digital analytics tools and processes, experience in Adobe Analytics strongly preferred

Education:

* 4-year degree; advanced degree a plus

Skills:

Demonstrated experience:

* Proven strategic capabilities while being hands-on and comfortable with tactical execution
* Ability to perform in-depth analysis, synthesize results, develop stories, build strategies and make recommendations to business and technical leaders
* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including presenting complex material in an organized and compelling manner
* Extensive experience in developing effective data visualizations and charts
* Expert-level knowledge of digital analytics tools and processes, experience in Adobe Analytics strongly preferred
* Advanced skills with all Microsoft Office Software for the creation of effective management reports, presentations, dashboards, scorecards visualizations and analysis
* Using advanced analytics in taking large data sets to detect patterns, isolate customer behaviors, segment and forecast
* Data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, etc.
* Digital marketing, including click attribution, impression tracking, customer journey
