Exec Director, R&C Commercial Management

Job Description:As part of our Professional Information Business, the Director, Commercial Management will be responsible for providing deep market insight, setting strategy for key markets of entry, or expansion, articulate market need and pricing structure, provide competitive intelligence, all with the desired outcome of maximizing sales results for the global sales team with the goal of helping exceed revenue targets. This role will collaborate with finance, sales, product and marketing to implement strategies, identify best practices and opportunities to drive and retain revenue. He/she will define and help implement programs and procedures to improve sales performance. Responsibilities:

* Develops a quantified view of the market opportunity, and align sales strategy accordingly (SWOT Analysis)
* Partner with Finance and sales operations to understand data trends to accelerate growth with new customer acquisition and mitigate risk with existing customers

* Generate insights through analytics and data to improve decision making and sales and marketing efficiency.

* Collaborate with Sales to develop initiatives and programs to build sales pipeline, monitoring accordingly

* Collaborate cross-functionally (product, marketing, sales) to ensure seamless execution of new initiatives/campaigns for the sales team

* Collaborate with marketing to develop built for purpose sales collateral

* Implement tactics to accelerate growth such as roadmap prioritization with the business.

* Act as center point between Product, Sales and Marketing to drive commercial policy decisions and implement campaigns and initiatives.

* Use market and industry knowledge to influence product pricing and strategy

* Help guide training efforts to ensure value proposition is clear.

* Enable the salesforce to adopt winning behaviors by providing training and access to sales content and assets

* Have a global view of data, opportunities and challenges but understand nuances at the regional level

* Identify key partners that will either enhance our product offerings, improve our branding, reduce barriers to entry in desired markets or provide a technology enhancement

* Experience/qualifications:

* Excellent understanding of risk and compliance industry and customer value proposition

* Uniquely combine quantitative skills needed to analyze the business with interpersonal skills needed to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

* High comfort level performing real-time business analysis and execution of priority initiatives

* Proven record of using data to make decisions

* Passion for simplifying complex concepts, defining value propositions and championing the voice of sales

* Entrepreneurial, proactive self-starter with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced, results-oriented environment

* Strong track record of cultivating relationships

* Keen attention to accuracy and detail

* Willingness to go above and beyond

* 7-10 years sales and/or risk & compliance experience

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

* Proven ability to multi-task and adhere to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

* Excellent project management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
