Affordability IRAD is currently seeking a Sr. Principal Software Engineer to work on adapting Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) Software Factory to meet MDS Business Unit development needs by generating quality/security documentation. The engineer will work with other members of the team to develop a proof of concept and provide a project demonstration. 'Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science with a STEM discipline (preferably) and 9 years of related experience; Master of Science and 7 years of related experience; PHD with 4 years related experience
Experience working with software in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, C, or Ada.
Familiarity with DevSecOps, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
Experience with build automation tools such as Jenkins
Active Secret Security Clearance.
Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results.
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with the following programs: GMD, SWDC, and/or C2BMC
Experience with Agile software development practices.
