The Intel Information Technology group is seeking student candidates to work in a challenging and dynamic environment. Our data centers are some of the most technologically advanced and environmentally friendly centers found anywhere.

As an Intern you will be responsible for:

* Unix system administration, primarily for Design Data Management Infrastructure Platform, server management support and administrative several revision.
* Control software including DesignSync and possibly Perforce SQL Databases MySQL PostgreSQL setup server version.
* Control repositories and monitor software and database performance on server.
* Troubleshoot and resolve conflicts in version control data support client with operations like check in check out history update diff branch merge.
* Develop task automation and enable it service on demand for DesignSync while meeting the projects requirements.
* Work with vendors to provide the required patches releases for it to work appropriately in the ecosystem and tested deployed it globally to make it a standard.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or any other related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding or coursework in the following:

* Unix TCSH and BASH shells.
* Python, Perl, Unix scripting for writing and maintaining functional scripts and automations.
* SQL Database administration.

Inside this Business Group
Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
