Northrop Grumman SSSD has an opening for a Administrative Assistant 4 with an ACTIVE SECRET clearance to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals supporting a Space program in Redondo Beach, CA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general Administrative Assistant support to a ~20 person team comprised of Subcontract Management Teams (SMT) and Mission Payload (MPL) System Engineers. The SMT will generally be deployed at Mission Payload Supplier locations, while the MPL SEs will mainly reside onsite at Space Park.
Essential position functions include, but are not limited to:
* Coordinating and scheduling internal and external meetings
* Arranging travel and preparing expense reports
* Ensuring security clearances of assigned staff are processed and passed
* Facilitating resolution of computer connectivity and other IT issues
* Coordinating seating/office arrangements with facilities as necessary
* Supporting Program administrative needs requested by other Program Admins

Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* High School diploma or GED with six (6) years of experience in an administrative assistant or similar role including providing support to managers, directors or executive leadership
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
* Proficiency in business and travel expense system (Concur, Edge, or similar) with complex, frequently changing travel
* Ability to be an exceptional team player, interface well at all levels in the organization
* Ability to be collaborative, proactive, self-motivated, well-organized, detail oriented, and assertive as necessary and able to execute projects and tasks independently
* Current and active DoD Secret clearance or higher
Preferred Qualifications:
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Ability to exercise good judgment while demonstrating flexibility and agility, prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlines, managing schedule conflicts, and providing excellent follow-through
* Demonstrated outstanding verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
* Ability to protect and maintain confidentiality
* Current and active DoD Top Secret; SCI with SSBI within last 4 years
