We are looking for a driven and curious client-focused Water/ Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer in to support our regional team.
This position performs a variety of engineering work focused on the treatment of wastewater, from the initial characterization, modeling, and planning phases of projects through design of equipment, systems, or processes. With a focus on operational efficiency and regulatory compliance, this position offers project leadership and technology development opportunities. The candidate should have thorough knowledge of treatment processes; understands how treatment facilities are an integral part of the entire wastewater collection, treatment and resource recovery process. This client-facing candidate will build understanding of business trends, industry issues, and technology developments.
As a key member of our team, you'll play an active role in multi-discipline planning, design and operations projects that may include preparation of studies and construction contract documents for all types and sizes of water and wastewater projects.
Effectively lead project teams including engineering disciplines from various company offices
Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Provides technical guidance to designers/drafters and less experienced engineers.

QUALIFICATIONS
At least 6 years of progressively responsible experience in the design and construction of municipal wastewater treatment facilities and related projects
Proven experience working with project managers to deliver successful related projects
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Experience modelling wastewater treatment facilities in SUMO, Biowin, or similar modelling platform .
Professional Engineer License (PE) required; ability to obtain a PE within 6 months preferred.
