Purpose

As an active part of the sales organization, this position exists to provide effective solutions to exceed customer needs and expectations. This position is responsible to creatively approach the challenges brought forth to provide solutions that not only meet the expected criteria but also ensure effective plant productivity and profitability.

Key Accountabilities

* Provide local operations support.
* Support the plant to achieve market share in key identified markets.
* Work to improve profitability on current business to ensure plant success. Utilize creative production-friendly solutions to ensure maximum machine efficiencies.
* Provide support to the sales organization. Utilize creativity and technical expertise to bring comprehensive solutions to effectively ensure customer success.
* Provide customers and sales with prototypes of designs to ensure acceptance of solutions. Utilize CAD software and the entire division design support organization to achieve end results.
* Participate in developing customer relationships by utilizing creative, technical and selling skills.
* Utilize the Adobe Illustrator (graphic) software for design purposes.
* Use testing equipment in effort to optimize construction of product at minimum cost.

Scope

Create packaging solutions to increase IPs profitability, market share and competitive advantage. Position impacts the business ROI by developing design solutions that impact corrugators trim ability, converting machine efficiencies and customer satisfaction. Must liaison with internal technical organizations, lead design organization, sales, customer service, manufacturing, management and customers.

Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience are preferred.
