Assemble completed wheel and brake parts into finished packages for customer shipment after completing several intermediate steps on each wheel and brake, referring to Blueprints as needed. Intermediate steps include, but are not limited to: stamping manufacturing dates on the wheel, placing a bearing cup inside the wheel center, adding an air valve and fuse plug (for pressure relief) on the wheel, applying heat shields to the inside wheel edges, and balancing the wheel to ensure weight meets specifications. Other examples of intermediate steps include: attachment of brake assemblies to piston housings, mating of wheel halves and tightening of connecting nuts and bolts, and deburring of holes from fixtures including applying chemicals in holes such as alodine. Final intermediate steps involve, but are not limited to: applying touch-up paint and decals, adding lock wiring, and packaging wheel as well as brake units in separate shipping containers. Tools used to complete jobs include, but are not limited to, computer-based balancing machine. pneumatic wrenches, torque wrenches, hoists, and measuring gages such as calipers. Update related paperwork/work instructions upon completion of tasks. Demonstrate safe work habits. Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner. As a team member, demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems leading to continual process improvements and effectiveness of the team.

YOU MUST HAVE

* High School Diploma or GED.
* Previous relevant experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
* Math skills that demonstrate a basic understanding of arithmetic
* Basic reading and writing skills
* Due to Federal regulations, candidate must be either a US Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident
