Job Description
Under close supervision, performs all shipping and receiving activity for the location; primary contribution is ensuring the customer receives the correct items in a timely manner and all stocked merchandise is properly maintained. This position works more than 50% of the time at the customer location. DUTIES:
* Provides excellent customer service that will enhance the relationship and lead to ongoing sales
* Matches packing slip to items shipped from Distribution Center, another Motion Industries location, or a supplier to ensure all items are accounted for
* Receives items in the computer system to show which items are available for the customers; may process invoices for customer
* Prepares items for delivery to customer; ensures items are pulled from inventory or from daily shipment
* Secures packages to make sure no items are damaged in delivery to customer
* May deliver items to customers; obtains signature from customer to validate receipt of items
* May process counter sales
* Maintains a clean warehouse
* Restocks shelves when new inventory arrives; maintains established MINO code organization of products
* Prepares customer returns for shipment back to Distribution Center or supplier
* May interact with customers while delivering items; interacts with other Motion and customer employees to resolve any problems with customer orders
* Attends training sessions regularly to continue professional growth and development
* Performs other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
* Reliability, organization and attention to detail required
* Basic computer skills, including information processing
* May need to be certified to operate a forklift
* Valid drivers license required

* Typically requires a high school diploma or GED.
