Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Manager Supply Chain Programs2.

Roles and Responsibilties:

Manages and coordinates with asupplier team composed of engineers, quality and procurement personnel

Defines scope requirements foreach service to be procured and ensures alignment of content and

supplier capabilities

Defines and manages cost andschedule targets to achieve program and business objectives

Performs as the totalintegrated product team (IPT) lead for a key subcontract supplier and the

associated subcontractorprocurements

Monitor daily supplieroperations and actively assist/provide in-scope, technical direction tosuppliers as

required

Determines the risk basis andvalue for the procured products and manages mitigation plans

Coordinates/leads all supplierdesign, manufacturing, and program reviews, including the

necessary levels of NorthropGrumman Space Sector (NGSP) participation

Functions as supplier ChangeBoard interface for all anticipated, proposed, and released changes

Ensures supplier compliancewith all elements of the SOW and subcontract

Ensures recovery plans are putin place for any / all erosion to schedule milestones

Ensures accurate Estimates atComplete (EACs) and material receipt forecasts

Leads solicitations forproposals, review of proposals, and supports supplier negotiations

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allowsemployees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every otherFriday off.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in technical, manufacturing, supply chain or business field

At least 5 years of experience managing suppliers in an industrial manufacturing environment

Must be able to relocate/commute to Dallastown, PA, area

Experience leading a project and/or driving performance against cost and schedule

Must be able to analyze, comprehend, clearly communicate and help resolve technical, cost and schedule issues

Able to provide a clear example of self-directed work activity in a location remote from the rest of the IPT

At least two years of experience as a buyer, contracting agent or materials planner

Familiar with FAR/DFAR related to supplier management

Capable of leading Subcontract Management Team (SMT)

Willingness/ability to travel to Roy, Utah, for program reviews, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Masters in technical, manufacturing, supply chain or business field
* Existing DoD clearance
* Familiarity with managing aerospace/defense manufacturing suppliers
* Experience developing, implementing and managing supplier quality at a supplier site
