JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

An analyst on Data Integrity and Testing (DIT) is responsible for performing user acceptance testing and database validation for IT changes that have a potential impact on enterprise reporting and DISH's sales and sales support tools. This includes:

* Analyzing projects and change requests, creating test scripts, identifying and reporting defects, and quantifying the impact of those defects.
* Act as a first point of contact to research, quantify, and trouble-shoot issues reported by both end users and found through proactive research.
* Provide excellent customer service and support to external partners ranging from developers to IT and business leadership.
* This responsibility includes rotating on-call support from 7am until 7pm on weekdays and ad-hoc support during weekends.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

* Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and 2-4 years in an Analytical role
* Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or at least two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SKILLS:

* Strong presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
* Very strong attention to detail.
* Highly innovative with an ability to manage time and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment.
* A strong desire to continuously develop analytic skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to quickly identify and prioritize problems.
* Entry level exposure to or experience with SQL.
* Entry level exposure to Python and API integration is a plus.
* Working knowledge of the Google Suite.
* A general understanding of Agile methodology and the Software Development Lifecycle is a plus.
* A general understanding of data architecture and web based applications is a plus.

Compensation: $48,600.00/Yr. - $67,300.00/Yr.
