Job Description
Responsible for the accurate assignment of ICD 10 and CPT codes for the Physician clinic, outpatient and inpatient visits in a timely manner. Assists with the monitoring of unbilled accounts and with activities related to reimbursement. Responsible for data entry of charges and diagnostic codes. Handles any correspondence from patient business office. High School diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of previous coding and billing experience in a hospital or medical office. Knowledgeable in current coding guidelines and principles and medical terminology. License/Certificate: CPC or RHIT certification required Office location: Chesterton, IN
