This position is part of our Advanced Safety & User Experience segment out of Troy, MI.
Summary:
Our embedded engineers design, develop, and validate advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to enhance vehicle safety. Studies show just a half a second more warning can mitigate or prevent 60 percent of accidents. In this role, youll be working with automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and lane keeping assistance technologies (and more) that have the power to prevent accidents and save lives.
In this role, we need Autosar based Embedded Software Development expert for Safety products following ASPICE compliance processes for all SW development life cycle phases. Candidate shall perform AUTOSAR/ARXML Configuration (SWC Compositions like Component instances, RTE connectors). Setup and configure Autosar BSW Modules and work with various competencies in developing new technologies and products. This key position demands deep embedded triaging skills for critical customer/vehicle issues analysis.
Responsibilities:
* Develop software for active safety production projects.
* Work closely with component teams on Interfaces and dependencies.
* Design, code, and test real-time embedded systems with first time quality.
* Triaging of issues reported from Internal/External stakeholders.
Must Haves (Basic Qualifications):
* Bachelors in engineering with Electrical/Electronic background.
* Should have minimum 5+ years experience in Automotive Embedded Software.
* Hands on experience in Autosar methodologies and workflows.
* Sound understanding of Embedded C on microcontroller architectures (TriCore/ARM)
* Automotive Product Development Process knowledge (ASpice, ISO26262)
* Experience in one or more of Autosar BSW Modules stacks
* Com stack (FlexRay, CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
* Memory Stack
* Diagnostic stack
* OS, Wdg, other services
Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications):
* Masters in engineering with Electrical/Electronic background.
* 8+ years experience in Automotive Embedded Software.
* Experience in realizing ISO26262 Technical Safety Concepts - RAM test, ROM test, Lock step, CPU test, MPU, OS configurations for multi-core architectures would be big plus
* Experience in RTE generation, make environments, multi-party SW integration.
* Experience in Low power mode implementation, factory-test SW.
* Awareness on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) & Transport Layer Security (TLS).
