DUTIES:

Position will be responsible for the technical planning and delivery of complex data projects consisting of a large number of deliverables and dependencies; will perform data analysis and participate in the software development lifecycle in support of data delivery aligned to business requirements. Will direct the efforts of technical staff; steward projects and software through the full development lifecycle ensuring design and development best practices are followed. Will utilize end-to-end Data Warehousing techniques such as Kimball/Dimensional modeling, Hadoop and Cloud architecture, Big Data technologies and associated tools such as Scoop, Hive, Pig, NoSQL, Talend, Snowflake and AWS).

REQUIREMENTS:

The position requires a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field plus seven (7) years of post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in a related position. Experience must include the following: Demonstrable understanding of end-to-end Data Warehousing architecture such as Dimensional Modeling Techniques and Cloud; demonstrable knowledge of ETL processes across various tools, specifically Informatica; demonstrable knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and proficiency in Unix Shell scripts; demonstrable understanding of data usage within Business Intelligence reporting tools;
