Trailhead Academy Instructors are a global team responsible for training and enabling customers along with employees and partners to be successful using the Salesforce applications and platform.
Experience/Skills
* Proven track record in delivering effective, interactive technical training to large audiences (10+ students) for a minimum of 5 years
* Ability to deliver in a virtual environment required
* Regarded as a standard of excellence in delivery, presentation, facilitation and classroom management skills
* Ability to alter delivery style on the fly as student requirements dictate
* Vlocity and or Insurance, Health, Communication experience a plus
* Able to anticipate customer satisfaction issues and work to proactively mitigate
* Solution-focused - exhibits enthusiasm, positive professional attitude, integrity and consistent reliability
* Able to work effectively in unstable situations and/or in unforeseen circumstances to bring about positive results
* Consistently complete tasks in a quality manner within a specified timeframe
* Plan and initiate actions to support all instructors in designated path, both within Salesforce as well as the broader partner community globally
* Able to balance personal needs and enablement of others
* Can successfully work autonomously

Instructor Responsibilities
* Held up as a standard of excellence in delivering effective, well-managed and well-facilitated training in public, private and internal classes.
* Consistently receive 4.7 or higher average (out of 5) scores from student surveys, the primary measure of customer satisfaction
* Lead and participate in community conversations to optimize training materials, instructor technical knowledge and raise issues for discussion/resolution
* Leads the way for adoption of new products/technology within Trailhead
* Answers questions posed/posted by other instructors and documents answers for future use
* Mentor certified and candidate instructors in their region/path on product knowledge and delivery best practices
* Conduct classroom observations/audits, document findings and report back to Instructor Certification Program Manager
* Provide constructive feedback to candidate instructors and summary reports to the regional Instructor Certification lead on candidate performance and progress
* Co-teach customer classes with candidate instructors
* Work closely with curriculum development team to improve course content for all courses in path; acts as link between curriculum development and customer experience
* Proactively promotes the Trailhead training catalogue of offerings such as learning paths, certification and additional training courses with customers, both in and out of the classroom
* Able to assist with scoping private workshops and develop a tailored yet effective agenda for delivery
* Delivers 35 days of training per quarter; up to 50% travel may be required (when possible)
* Leads and contributes to key initiatives in the local team/department to improve customer satisfaction
