Job Summary

Responsibility of the role is to design the Enterprise System Management (ESM) roadmap, contain potential gaps, conduct digital forensics, and deliver highly-complex secure systems, monitoring applications, technical projects and regulatory and risk requirements. Drive Systems Management framework, roadmap, program optimization, process engineering, risk remediation, and mitigation of operational risk in a high velocity culture by introducing technology, requirements, deliverables, gaps and systems design.

Responsibilities

Acts as a principal advisor to upper management in Enterprise System Management matters. Provides guidance to Engineers in the design and development of solutions consistent with business goals and risk tolerance.

Works closely with business analysts, engineers, and architects to ensure requirements are effectively met through all phases of system lifecycles. Determines whether systems perform as expected, provides input to the determination of operational effectiveness, and takes action to remediate issues and resolve gaps. Directs solutions and technical assurance in alignment with business risk and regulatory requirements.

Works closely with management to define promote the strategic direction of the team. Provides strong leadership and direction to team members. Provides subject matter expertise across all enterprise system management technologies. Oversees projects and initiatives to ensure complete and timely delivery of key objectives.

Participate in the pager rotation responsibilities for On call pager and incidents.

Minimum Qualifications:

* H.S. Diploma or GED

Bonus Points/Nice to have:

* Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Business, or Analytics
* 6+ years in Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related fields
* Experience in Monitoring and Event Management tools (Moogsoft, App Dynamics, Netcool, Catchpoint) and experience in Influx, Application Performance Managing /Real User Monitoring, infrastructure monitoring and log analysis tool such as NetScout.
* Proficiency in general purpose programming languages: Python, Ruby, Shell Scripting, Java and, PowerShell.
* Proficiency with Unix/Linux OS and Window OS.
* Experience with Cloud and SaaS applications as well as with different IT Infrastructure components such as Unix/Linux/Windows Servers, networks, firewalls, routers, load balancers, VPN, Apache, web logic, LDAP, Active Directory, Exchange, Oracle/MySQL databases, SAN, and, Virtualization.
* Experience managing nodes at the scale of a large enterprise (10k+ nodes) using automation tools Chef and Ansible
* Experience as part of an Agile engineering or development team
* Strong understanding of object-oriented principles with an ability to write clean code
* Strong experience working with a relational database and NoSQL database
* Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or similar; Git/GitHub; Artifactory
* Proven skills in high availability and scalability design, as well as performance monitoring
* Experience developing and implementing API service architecture
* Experience in working in a cloud environment such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
* Understanding of messaging systems like MQ, Rabbit MQ, Kafka, or Kinesis.
* Strong experience of developing multi-threaded and synchronization application
* Build secure web applications with user authentication
* Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
