Job Description

As an Engineering Manager, youll continuously upgrade the Mojave facility and processes through cost- effective capital projects, to meet changing manufacturing requirements and maintain competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

* Build high performance engineering teams by hiring, promoting, and teaching.
* Develop project management tools, procedures, and systems to improve the Mojave facilities and processes.
* Lead multiple site projects concurrently through timely completion
* Manage multiple projects concurrently, communicate project timelines using GANNT charts. Work with team to develop and improve as living documents.
* Coach and manage maintenance team to improve the Mojave manufacturing OEE. Provide effective management of construction, engineering projects, process improvement projects for the Mojave plant by coordinating a global engineering team, and functioning as a design engineer and direct project manager.
* Coordinating with the manufacturing manager, EHS manager and quality manager to manage process improvement projects and OSHA PSM projects as needed.

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in chemical, electrical, or mechanical engineering, with automation project management experience.
* 10 years experience preferred in chemical or aerospace manufacturing processes
* 5 years experience preferred in management that includes responsibility for engineering and regulatory compliance.
* Must have effective skills in leadership, organization, team building, problem solving, fluent in English, experience with AutoCAD, PSM, California Building Code, National Electric Code, and/or PSM would be a huge plus
