In this role, you will be looked upon as the sales support expert on GovSpend software for both K12 public schools and Higher Education. Youll be focused on helping the team understand the market size for every state, identify the available market relating to in-house conversions, and helping sales staff determine a clients annual spend relating to facility operating costs. You will assist in building reports that help us expand our solutions.

You will report to the SVP Education Strategy and Sales.

TOP 4 RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Understand where the value propositions of ABM Education can be most affective in attracting new clients
2. Use Sales Force fluently to understand trends in our business and produce weekly reports.
3. Mine the GovSpend software to help us better understand our targeted clients.
4. Provide administrative sales support to VP and SVP of Sales

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

* Help the team build go-to-market strategies and execution plans for the Group that is aligned with sales and growth targets.
* Perform market research to determine industry sub-segments, market size, trends and new growth opportunities.
* Build internal data analytics on sales histories to assist with client retention efforts.
* Identify geographic target markets, strategic partners, influential consultants, industry associations, key publications and media, trade conferences & events, speaking opportunities, etc.
* Report on KPIs and metrics that will measure the success of EDU marketing strategies
* Create sales proposals and story boards. Work with the Marketing Team to develop sales campaigns.
* Develop and maintain a best-in-class sales document library.
* Serve as the local Salesforce.com Administrator for Sales.
* Assist in creating and updating sales forecasts.
* Travel, when necessary, to support salespeople in their pursuits.
* Help facilitate on-boarding of new hires.
* Produce and reconcile expense reports

* Identify growth markets.
* Improvement in positioning/differentiation of ABMs solutions to Education Vertical

Minimum Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree required. Major in Marketing, Business, or similar highly preferred
* Two (2) years experience in sales analysis and/or support preferred.
* Experience using Salesforce and Contract Management System (CMS) a plus.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) intermediate user, required.
* A polished phone presence, and superior verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
* Understanding of the education market preferred.
* Superior written, proofreading, verbal and group communications skills.
* Outstanding conceptual, strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Collaborative personality open to learning new skills .
* Ability to research and analyze market data, summarize results, make recommendations and present to Group leaders.
