Position Summary:

Support the team in developing Kroger Manufactured Products (KMP) sales plans and special programs necessary to achieve sales, tonnage and contribution margin business plans. Work with the Category Management team to maximize Manufacturing sales and tonnage results by providing promotional sales and marketing communications. Oversee the project development of all new Deli/Bakery Manufacturing items. Interface with the Corporate Brands and Finance teams to develop reports, programs and systems that provide the sales team with the data necessary to analyze and make optimal business decisions. Provide all data for annual budgeting, period reporting and recapping as well as other activities as needed. Demonstrate the companys core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Essential Job Functions:

* Update and implement enhancements to the Sales Plan Model to help meet business objectives
* Provide write-ups for programs and special events
* Provide technical support for the Manufacturing Deli/Bakery team
* Oversee all projects being worked on the Deli/Bakery Manufacturing plants regarding new products
* Works closely with the Category Management team and Our Brands team on new product ideation and corporate timelines
* Assist in evaluating and developing technical business solutions for the Merchandising team
* Implement company initiatives for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Mercury projects
* Develop and maintain technical tools to enhance communications to remote users, plants and the corporate office
* Manage the All Product Information (API) file, keeping it updated with current item information for Country Oven Bakery, Layton and KB Specialty (i.e., set up new items with cost to produce, division transfer cost, divisions carrying the item, weight, package count, remove items, and category)
* Create and maintain a master budget by plant, division and category from Essbase which is rolled into a master total worksheet
* Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements
* Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 Systems
* Accountable to the Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:

* Bachelors degree in business management, information technology or a related field
* Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within and outside the organization
