Sr Scrum Master

In software engineering, were excited to be building the digital experience of the future for our financial advisors and their teams, enabling them to deliver financial security to more people in the marketplace.

A Sr. Scrum Master helps make this a reality by leveraging industry proven techniques and appropriate Agile methodology to drive predictable, quality delivery and continuous improvement. In this role, you will support the success of high visibility, cross-functional transformation initiatives through helping to optimize the delivery performance of a set of teams.

Responsibilities:

Drives cross-team planning, collaboration, and coordination. Accountable for identifying, assessing and mitigating risks and issues. Leverages a collaborative problem-solving approach to remove impediments. Partners with business, technology, and product organizations to craft delivery milestones, identify dependencies, and report on cross-team progress. Influences behavior change and drives continuous improvement through feedback and measurement. Helps teams adopt best practices and standards related to process and technology. Coaches teams on backlog refinement and prioritization. Advances the overall delivery effectiveness of teams through coaching, mentoring, and training. Actively seeks and participates in a variety of learning opportunities

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

* A minimum of 6 years of professional experience

* A minimum of 6 years of technology delivery experience

* A minimum of 3 years Agile experience

* Great communication skills and comfort presenting to varied audiences (busines, product, and technology practitioners and senior leaders)

* Experience with project management methodologies or SDLC (systems development life cycle)

* Working knowledge of project management / agile tooling

Preferred Qualifications:

* Agile or Professional Coaching certification

* SAFe certified or other scaled agile frameworks

* PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

This job is not covered by the existing Collective Bargaining Agreement.
