Northrop Grumman Space Systems, Missile Defense Solutions Business Unit has an opening for a Continuous Improvement Manager 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position may be located in either Huntsville, Alabama or Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The Continuous Improvement Manager will:
Provide Process and Program Excellence capabilities across the business unit and in coordination with efforts across the Launch and Missile Defense Systems Division and Northrop Grumman Space Sector.
Commit to promotion and expertise in the core areas of process development, continuous improvement, and predictive analytics.
Manage a healthy pipeline of integrated, multi-disciplined continuous improvement projects, tools and solutions. Identify and prioritize process improvement projects to support the sectors strategic direction
Provide necessary training, coaching and consultation to team subject matter experts, spreading the base of Six Sigma problem solving tools and Lean Principles and their application in project implementations
Assist in the creation of metrics, reporting and improvement targets for projects

'Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in one of the following areas: Quality, Mission Assurance, Program Management, or Systems Engineering.
Experience across multiple programs, contract types and/or customer sets
Hands on demonstrated experience with forward thinking, continuous improvement programs including employment of lean and / or Six Sigma methodologies
Experience leading and influencing junior team members, peers and senior leaders on CI projects.
Excellent communication skills including experience developing and delivering presentations to various levels within an organization to create buy-in
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. US Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent business acumen and experience developing business cases, demonstrated successful Project Management experience
Six Sigma Master Black-Belt
Current Secret Clearance
