Description:
The Subcontracts Administrator for Major Subcontracts in the Avionics Supply Management group is responsible management of $10M - $20M of annual spend with Sikorsky suppliers of Electrical and Avionics components and systems. These subcontracts are in support of multiple US Government, International, and Commercial program aircraft platforms. We seek an experienced supply chain candidate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating and managing major subcontracts, on-boarding and qualifying new suppliers, and supporting production and spares programs with material and services from our supply base. Specific roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Supplier relationship management and driving improvement efforts across the Avionics Commodity and Product Center

-Management of the overall procurement cycle, including and necessary coordination among production, spares, development programs, and various functional support groups, purchase order placement and administration in support of sub-contracts.

-Management of critical, time-sensitive and complex issues including; proposal evaluations, contract documentation, modifications for contract changes. Will assist in the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services

-Management of supplier performance metrics, including: Supplier MRP/On-Time Delivery, Purchase Price Variance, Purchase Requisition placement, Contract Overspend/NTE performance, Cost of Poor Quality, etc.

-Interact in an integrated team environment by coordinating with Programs, Engineering, Legal, SAS, USG Customer, Finance, and Marketing.

-Lead key supplier negotiations of cost, terms and conditions, development Statements of Work, and long-term agreements. Control costs, manage cost avoidance and perform price analysis as required

- Manage the import and export of technical data, hardware, software, and qualification artifacts in full compliance with export license regulations

- Develop and implement RCCA plans for significant supplier issues and low performing suppliers
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent Experience

Supply Management experience required
Excellent communication, organization and project management skills required.
Experience in negotiating and communication with all levels of internal and supplier management is necessary.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Desired Skills:
Strong background in government, international or commercial contracts a plus.
Aerospace Supply chain management or related manufacturing procurement experience preferred.
Specific competencies shall include:
A thorough understanding of SAC Purchasing Policies & Procedures.
A thorough understanding of SACs Business Ethics and Codes of Conduct.
A basic understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations, FARS, DFARS, Commerciality, etc.
A basic understanding of MRP, SAP, SDS, etc.
A basic understanding of Buyer Dashboard/Newspaper, Cost Dashboard, Supply Hub, Supplier Portal, etc.
Experience in interacting and managing International customer/supplier relationships a plus
Attention to detail, enjoy complex problems, excellent communication and organization skills, project management, negotiation skills
