This position is for a Senior Validation Software Engineer in Intel's XEON Platform Integration & Validation organization. We are seeking an experienced software engineer for our Security feature validation efforts. Responsibilities include the design of test plans, developing automation strategy for technologies, object-oriented test content development, leveraging existing code for interoperability content, debug & test of automated content on physical platforms. You will be contributing towards the success of key technologies for our next-Gen Server products.

Our Security & Manageability Subsystem team is responsible for End-to-End validation strategy, test content development, debug, & execution coordination for Intel's datacenter platform validation of Security & Manageability technologies. Our team interacts with Scalable & Advanced Performance Xeon server product lines. We work in pre and post Silicon environments (simulation/N-1) and with open/closed chassis systems. You will work with other teams across Intel including hardware and software architects, silicon design and debug teams, and software/firmware organizations.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

* BS Degree in Software, Computer, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of total experience (Masters degree with 3+ years will also be considered)

* 2+ years of experience in one or more languages (ex. C/C++/C/Java)

* 2+ years of experience with data structures and object-oriented programming

* 2+ years of experience in processor and/or computer system architecture

* 1+ years of experience in OS debug Windows, Linux, and/or Virtualization Environments such as VMware ESXi

Preferred Qualifications:

* 2+ years of Validation Experience and debugging

* 1+ years of experience in Server technology domains such as Artificial Intelligence, PCIe, I2C, Smbus, Security, RAS, Manageability, Power Management, and/or Memory technologies

* 1+ years of experience in software and/or hardware testing and tools JTAG/ITP, kernel debugger

* 1+ years of experience technically leading engineers directly or through matrix work

* 1+ years of experience Python scripting skills
