We are currently seeking a talented Registered Nurse to join our team in the NICU Department

In our Womens and Infants Services department, whether in Labor and Delivery, our Level II EQ NICU, or Post-Partum, youll be caring for mothers and their babies to ensure they get off to a great start in life. This all-private room department specializes in providing care to a wide variety of mothers from traditional and caesarean deliveries to high-risk antepartum patients, who sometimes spend weeks as an inpatient until the time of delivery. All the while, our talented professionals must provide compassionate care in a wide-variety of situations which may include the unfortunate circumstances caring for parents that have experienced a fetal loss or the sensitive dynamics surrounding parents that are placing a baby for adoption. This department has a cohesive, physician-nurse partnership that provides safe, exceptional care to its patients. Abrazo Arrowhead Campus supports a robust laborist program, offering an OB physician in house 24/7, the full support of a certified lactation specialist and the strength of a perinatal educator on staff.

We are currently seeking a talented Registered Nurse to join our team in the at Arrowhead Campus!

Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit.

Coordinates care planning with other disciplines.

Position renders individualized, age specific and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.

Acts as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.

Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.

Participates in hourly rounding.

Observes safety guidelines and safe work practices.

May at times be asked to be in charge for a shift(s).

Qualifications:
Education

Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)

Certifications

Required: Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. CPR
