Position Summary & Responsibilities:

The Endovacular Lab Coordinator is responsible for the promotion of a safe and therapeutic environment for both the recipients and providers of nursing care; acquisition of specialized knowledge skills and additional formal education to provide specialized care; demonstration and validation of competence in nursing practice; clinical practice consistent with the policies, procedures and standards of this facility. Serves as direct supervisor and shift coordinator for endoscopy department collaborating with physicians, technicians and allied health practitioners.

Qualifications

* Current licensure as an RN TX or compact license, OR ARRT registry and TDH license OR RCIS/RCIS registry eligible
* BLS required
* 2 years recent Cath Lab experience or Special Procedures clinical experience preferred
* Associates Degree in Nursing preferred. Enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and obtain BSN in 24 months
