Position Purpose:
* Oversee the US GAAP monthly consolidation process for Centenes international subsidiaries, including monitoring of US GAAP conversion adjustments, eliminations, and review of results
* Actively review deliverables relating to international results for monthly reporting to Centenes finance leadership team as well as for inputs to Centenes quarterly and year-end external reporting
* Oversee month-end accounting for international holding companies and start-up entities being accounted for at Corporate
* Oversee Centenes foreign currency processes for translation and re-measurement
* Play an active role in the accounting for international business combinations, including opening balance sheet procedures, purchase accounting valuations, GAAP conversions, and on-going finance integration work
* Review financial statements prepared for local GAAP results for Centenes international subsidiaries and play a supporting role in local financial statement audits
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of accounting, financial analysis or finance related experience. Previous management experience including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of staff. Experience in public accounting, operations, financial analysis, information systems and health care or insurance preferred.
License/Certification:
CPA preferred.
