Brentwood Hospital is looking for a dynamic Director of Performance Improvement! The Director of Performance Improvement plans, coordinates, directs and carries out activities related to the facility-wide performance and quality improvement program and processes. Ensures that the facility is in compliance with The Joint Commission, CMS, AHCA, and other regulatory agencies standards. The Director of PI oversees the collection and submission of all externally submitted performance measures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Oversees the activities directly related to the identification, evaluation and analysis of the performance and quality improvement activities for the facility.
2. Documents and communicates key performance and quality improvement areas for the facility.
3. Analyzes, creates and maintains quality data systems.
4. Recommends ways to improve performance and clinical outcomes based on the data.
5. Plans and contributes to the development of performance and quality improvement systems, policies and procedures for the facility.
6. Conduct quality improvement meetings on a regular basis to develop and continuously encourage a facility-wide team effort in meeting quality improvement efforts.
7. Audit records to ensure documentation is completed timely, effectively and according to facility policy, to ensure facility staff is following established policies and procedures, and to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, contracts, licensing standards and guidelines.
8. Will prepare for, and conduct the monthly PI Committee meetings, will create and implement action plans deriving from those meetings and regulatory surveys.
9. Responds quickly and proactively to performance indicators and data, resulting in higher quality staff and superior patient care.

Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. Master's degree in Psychology highly preferred.
* Experience: A minimum of three (3) years experience in a psychiatric health care facility with performance improvement and regulatory experience, with demonstrated ability to provide training and education. A strong knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, and Patient Rights standards, and any other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities is preferred.
* Licensure: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
* Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
