Trailhead is the fun way to learn. Its revolutionizing how people learn and energizing, activating, and expanding our Salesforce community. Trailhead helps skill-up developers, admins, business users, technical architects, and business analysts by presenting them with a series of guided learning 'Trails' that break up Salesforce into small, digestible bites. It's modular, social, and gamified. Most importantly, it's fun...and a little bit weird.
Role Overview
We need a passionate Trailhead Editor to help develop MuleSoft technical content that is fun, high quality, and ultimately empowering for our learners. As an editor, youll spend your days working with writers and internal and external stakeholders, helping to shape the content and make sure it stays true to the spirit of Trailhead. You will also collaborate with writers across various MuleSoft teams to create smart content plans that guide the teams content goals.
This is NOT a copy or line editor job. This is a challenging role for someone with MuleSoft and Salesforce experience who is an exceptional editor and writer of technical content and is passionate about helping people learn.
Your Impact
Your success will be measured by your ability to produce quality badges for Trailhead and by your ability to work collaboratively to manage a Trailhead content strategy for MuleSoft.
* Use your extensive knowledge of MuleSoft and Salesforce to shape the content and work with writers to get the structure, voice, and tone right
* Bring a deep understanding of our learners and be able to put yourself in the mind of the learner to create fun, aspirational, educational, and relevant content
* Work closely with writers, product managers, internal stakeholders, and external subject matter experts to help develop content
* Manage content development from start to finish/from the initial outline to the finished product through rounds of edits and revisions
* Help MuleSoft stakeholders strategize and create content roadmaps
* When needed, write content from the ground up
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills, leadership, and judgment
* Be accountable to ensure deadlines are met
Minimum Requirements
* Innovative and creative writer and editor of technical content who is unafraid to take risks
* Minimum 5 years professional writing and/or editing experience
* Experience with developer or technical content
* Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment on a fast-growing team
* Ability to balance high standards for quality with the need to get to market fast
* Experience working with Salesforce and Mulesoft
Preferred Requirements
* Knowledge of and experience with Trailhead
* Experience with Agile methodologies and principles
* Experience with education technology
* Experience with instructional design and/or curriculum development
* Experience working in a startup environment
