As the Transition Lead at GDIT you will take lead on transitioning new services across TSS.. You will be responsible for developing project schedules, identifying Risks and Issues, tracking actions and question and facilitating meetings to discuss and track the status of transitions. This role will allow you to utilize your time management and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed timely and within budget.If you enjoy collaborating with a dynamic team to ensure the successful completion of client and operational goals, you will find this role to be both rewarding and challenging.
Essential Job Duties:
* Develop Project Schedules with delivery teams in SmartSheets
* Develop and maintain a project schedule using Smartsheets of timeline of events for launching a new contract or onboarding new services.
* Communicate project status updates to GDIT leadership to include identified risks and mitigations.
* Maintain the Risk, Action, Issue and Deliverable (RAID) for all project implementations.
* Work with Delivery Teams to identify mitigation for identified risk.
* Develop documents for presentation of project status during the transition period.
* Communicates regularly with client on transition status and timeline.
* Communicates mitigation associated with cost to the program management team for approval.
* Responsible for establishing, facilitating and documenting meetings where transition tasks are identified/discussed/gathered.

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* Five or more years of related experience
* One or more years of experience with MS Project, Excel & Smartsheets
* One or more years of experience with communicating with a diverse audience of collaborators and team members
