The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), located in West Chester PA, is the center for the monitoring and analysis of risk affecting Qurate Retail Group (QRG) global operations. The GSOC supports the protection of team members and corporate infrastructure providing the business timely communications and actionable intelligence. The GSOC Assistant Security Manager (GSOC ASM) provides exceptional customer service, professional response to emergency situations and displays the values set forth by the CREWS Global Security & Business Continuity function.

The GSOC Assistant Manager, under the guidance of the U.S./GSOC Sr. Security Manager, is responsible for the guidance and management of the Security Supervisors, GSOC Specialist and GSOC Operators. Manage events, incidents and emergencies impacting team members, guests, facilities and other QRG properties globally. The GSOC ASM will assess situations that can adversely impact QRG operations and escalate to appropriate stakeholders and senior leadership within the Global Security & BCP function as well as business unit senior leadership. The GSOC ASM will create intelligence reports based on high risk world events that can disrupt business across QRG. The GSOC ASM will conduct event After-Action Reviews, Daily Intelligence Briefings (when required), GSOC Operator training and senior leadership presentations regarding matters related to security risk and business interruption.

Job Description Details

Key Accountabilities:

25%- Actively manage security events, emergencies, incidents and crisis that pose a threat to the QRG business utilizing tools such as CCTV, access control reports, Travel Tracker, mass notification platforms, adverse weather systems and other emergency notification systems. Support the Business Continuity and Crisis Management team as required.

Report findings and updates to the senior leadership within the Global Security & BCP team as well as the QRG senior leadership team.

25%- Train, mentor, coach and develop GSOC team members to ensure all aspects of the GSOC function are clearly understood and technical capabilities are tested and validated. Record and report training results for appropriate follow up and improvement.

Develop Standard Operating Procedures to train and educate GSOC team members for effective performance requirements.

20%- Develop reporting capabilities such as risk assessments, daily/weekly operational/threat intelligence reports, hot topic reports, after-action reviews, alarm abatement and other access control reports to help mitigate risk to the QRG organization.

Stay informed of all relevant world events and reports that have a potential to impact business travelers and QRG business operations globally.

15%- Works closely with key internal partners in the business (HR, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Audit, Facilities, Global Construction & Design, International Market Leaders, Cyber Security, IT and Data Privacy teams) to stay informed of QRG business initiatives that directly or indirectly impact Global Security & BCPs mission.

Develop and maintain external stakeholder relationships with law enforcement and other local and city agencies to collaborate during emergencies and incident response requiring external support.

10%- Manage technology platforms in the GSOC to maintain equipment, troubleshoot and address break/fix issues, manage security vendors and periodically test critical security systems.

Critical Skills/Knowledge:

* Strong leader with previous experience managing teams in a command center/fusion environment; ability to lead under pressure
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* Strong decision-making skills daily and during crisis events
* Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills including tools specific to intelligence analysis
* Access Control/Video Surveillance System experience
* Experience managing threats in the workplace Threat Assessment concept
* Experience with International SOS tools/resources such as Travel Tracker preferred
* Understanding of continuous improvement to consistently improve GSOC operations
* Experience in conducting research and analysis to identify risk and other business disruptors
* Ability to multitask in fast past work environment
* Comfortable with the latest technology, and eager to learn new tools and new innovations
* Must be willing to work during mission critical events to support a 24/7/365 Operation
* Must possess a valid Drivers License
* Be able to walk or stand for long periods of time
* AED/CPR/First Aid Certified (or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment)
* Ability to work flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Associate degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration or other relevant field preferred; or, equivalent experience.

Preferred Education: 4-year college degree

Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience (private sector, law enforcement or combination of)

Preferred Experience: 7+ years of experience (private sector, law enforcement or combination of)
