ROLE SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of Supply Chain Planners who plan materials/production for new and existing products, manage inventory levels, resolve supply chain issues and ensure the site delivery schedules for downstream supply chain partners. This individual will support and develop Supply chain planning and scheduling tactics within the group and ensure all team goals are met while developing talent. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining and evaluating the long range volume forecast for multiple products/suites and also evaluating and discussing capacity needs and/or constraints to Senior Leadership. The leadership will support initiatives across the site and the corporation.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

* Leads the supply planning team to manage operations planning, master production scheduling, material supply management, life cycle product project management, capacity planning, supply & scheduling reporting & related SAP data.
* Evaluates all product portfolios across the Sanford Site to determine cost of goods, Long Range Volume Forecasting and site production feasibility with respect to resource and material allocation
* Will be the PCT(process centric team) Site Planning lead for the IMEX materials workstream and will be responsible for the materials end to end workflow
* Responsible for maintaining, updating, evaluating, and communicating the sites long range volume forecast and capacity analysis. Provides quarterly updates to Network owners and frequent updates to site leadership.
* Responsible for capacity planning in line with changing demand and capacity against mid and long term forecast to identify key constraints and opportunities. Provides capacity modeling data and proposals to Senior Leadership
* Improve the planning organization and develop the necessary talent to deliver long-term results
* Involved in new product launch meetings as needed to ensure delivery and customer service excellence to understand demand requirements
* Monitor receipts and transfers ensuring timely delivery and availability of product as well as in accordance with the inventory plan.
* Support SAP data integrity and the development of system improvements
* Develop, monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive internal logistics and functional performance improvements
* Provides technical assistance during investigations in order to segregate materials
* Direct interaction with Regulatory agencies and internal compliance during audits

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain/planning leadership role.

Masters degree with 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain/planning leadership role.

Very strong leadership skills including team facilitation, training, and motivation.

A successful candidate must demonstrate key business results in a planning leadership role in a dynamic organization.

Very strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills as well as strong knowledge and experience utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel.

Excellent written and verbal communication, proven leadership record, sound decision making skills, and have the aptitude to work independently to set and meet key deliverables and objectives.

Knowledge of operational excellence and continuous improvement principles as applied to supply chain and manufacturing operations principles.

Strong influencing skills

Strong knowledge of operational and financial analysis

Strong interpersonal skills

Experience with SAP required experience with APO strongly preferred

Perform all duties in a manner which exceeds all ethical standards for the profession

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Supply Chain experience within the Pharmaceutical industry
* Advance Business and Financial experience
* Master Business Administration or advance business degree

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Sitting, standing, walking, bending.

Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations/understands formulas within a software package (i.e. Excel, JMP)

Ability to perform complex data analysis with respect to financials, scheduling, cost of goods, etc.
