Job Description

As a Systems Analyst, you will be expected to work with a team of program managers to solve complex problems. Being part of the Systems Team within Developer Operations, a Systems Analyst is a critical thinker who is able to maneuver quickly and problem solve in a rapidly changing environment to meet our business needs. A Systems Analyst must be able to apply operational rigor to process and methods. A Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing incoming request and help the team prioritize and allocate the appropriate resources to a job. A Systems Analyst is able to take on problems and provide potential solutions to the team in a concise manner. Operating in an environment that is in constant flux, a Systems Analyst must be able to juggle between ongoing and incoming tasks and ensure that all projects and task meet deadlines.

Systems Analyst, Developer Operations Responsibilities

* Work with Systems Program Managers (SPM) across multiple programs to support the needs of the business.

* Understand problems, policies, and risks, with the ability to effectively translate them into scaled technical solutions that improve processes and workflows across internal and external teams.

* Support cross-functional project teams of engineers and end-users to design and develop Operations Systems to meet company goals, program objectives and key results.

* Collaborate closely with engineering teams in different locations, to drive high-impact projects to successful completion, balancing engineering priorities and constraints with those of non-engineering teams.

* Analyze the scale and efficiency of workflows to make data-driven decisions that align with team/company goals and values.

* Identify and provide analysis to technical improvement opportunities and provide technical design solutions across the larger team.

Minimum Qualifications

* 1+ years of industry experience working with other teams to solve complex problems.

* Project/program management experience: create project outlines, plans, scope, timelines and deliverables, as well as multitasking and executing projects based on business priorities.

* 1+ years experience working with multiple teams across different timezones.

* Experienced with task management systems and triaging skills.

* Experience working with management tools to increase operational efficiency.

* Effective communication skills especially while navigating teams in multiple timezones (NA, EMEA, APAC).

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience solving problems and making data-driven, critical, decisions.

* Experience developing standard operating procedures.
