Become an HR Information Systems (HRIS) Systems Analyst at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will play a key role in the ability for HR to create business or computing solutions to ensure process efficiencies, utilization of appropriate technology and corporate compliance. This position will maintain and enhance enterprise wide HRIS applications to ensure optimal processes. This position will gather and develop requirements and implement long term computing solutions to increase productivity, minimize system downtime and improve employee experience. This position will execute approved system changes to maintain the HR systems used to deliver content for all the HR COEs. This position requires thorough knowledge of business objectives, practices, and processes; computer systems and computing technologies and their relationship to the business functions and client work flow; system standards, guidelines, and operating methods; including appropriate testing methodologies, structured design, and analysis concepts.

A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

* Leads the implementation of effective solutions in a wide variety of business/technical areas in both on premise and cloud solutions.
* Execute operational configuration and testing for SuccessFactors platform include home page updates alongside system administrators, testing approved release features, partnering with HRIS Advisor to enable new functionality and reporting any defects for resolution.
* Identifies requirements, defines scope, performs cost benefit analysis, and develops conceptual specifications to address complex business issues and problems. Gather requirements and complete Enhancement Requirements Documents or Business Requirement Document for on premise and cloud systems change requests; work with key stakeholders to understand needs and translate business requirements into a technical document.
* SME for all HR Systems including interfaces and third-party integrations.
* Work with the Onboarding Advisor in the configuration and maintenance of HR onboarding process that includes Pega Systems and all related processes and systems. Work with IT and HR stakeholders to identify opportunities for Robotics, prioritize opportunities, and execute of the development of approved bots. Maintain the Pega Onboarding Business Process Management tool (BPM) and other related tools through updates to forms, routing, and systems notifications; stay up to date with Pega System upgrades including review and testing of impacts.
* Maintain content and design cross-discipline areas of the HR Portal/SharePoint to ensure content is up to date and page design is user friendly and intuitive for the enterprise audience. Maintain and enhance existing SharePoint sites that increase awareness around HR subject matter Investigate and resolve issues with existing SharePoint sites; create automated SharePoint forms, workflows, and functionality to increase efficiency.
* Create remedy tickets (access requests, enhancements, tech consults, break/fix) and Ad-hoc report writing, develop documentation showing system processes for end users.
Qualifications
The essentials

* Five years of HRIS experience working with Core Human Capital Management System, Compensation, Benefits, Learning Management, Performance Management, Onboarding, Recruiting, Reporting and/or analytics.
* Five years of analytical and problem-solving experience.

The preferred

* Bachelors Degree in information systems, Business System.
* Advanced degree with a focus on IT, HRIS, data science, analytics, or related discipline.
* SAP or SuccessFactors certification.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint).
* Good communication and interpersonal skills. Pro-level ability to interface and collaborate across all levels and groups as well as with external representatives.
* Ability to effective handle stress and engage in continuous learning.
* Experience with process mapping and using continuous improvement methodologies.
