POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Supervisor-Tenant Services supervises and/or provides oversight to activities such as janitorial services; interior plantscapes/exterior landscape services; snow removal services; day porter coordination; cafeteria; mail/reprographics; forms management; exterminating/pest control services; hardware services; and, painting associated with the corporate buildings within the Eversource Energy portfolio of properties.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's degree is or equivalent is desired. At least five years related experience required. Supervisory experience and/or team leadership experience within a union environment strongly preferred. The incumbent must be available and willing to respond to on call demands. The incumbent must hold and maintain a valid motor vehicle driver's license.
Knowledge:
NFPA Life Safety Code, BOCA Building Code
Emergency evacuation and business continuity planning
Hazardous and regulated materials including Asbestos, Lead, PCB and CFC
Building construction practices and principles
Systems furniture products and installation
US Postal codes and familiarity with mailing equipment and interoffice mail practices
Reprographics equipment including high speed copiers, folders, inserters, etc.
Forms management process and practices
Required Skills include:
Ability to develop and monitor expense and capital budgets associated with Building Operations
Solid problem solving skills
Strong spoken and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with others
Strong team leadership and team membership
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills including the ability to draw sound conclusions and make recommendations as to the appropriate actions to be taken
