What youll achieve
As the Manager of Dells Product Security Customer Trust Team, you will be a strategic leader driving continuous improvement of our Customer Trust program in relation to product security. Reporting to the Director, Product Security Incident Response (PSIRT), you will manage customer product security inquiries, communicate product security information to customers and handle other customer-related issues related to product security. You will also evangelize and educate customer-facing teams about Dells product security practices to influence customer transparency and continue to build customer trust.
As a people leader, you will provide leadership, mentorship, technical direction, career development and performance for a distributed team of passionate and highly motivated individuals.
You will:
* Define and implement a strategy to respond to all potential and existing Dell Technologies customer requests regarding product security practices, supporting and enabling winning new business and retaining existing customers
* Create a portfolio of sales / customer consumable materials that describe the security posture, policies, controls, process and practices for Dell products
* Create tools and processes, as well as build and maintain a library, to respond to customer security questionnaires in an accurate and timely manner
* Develop a framework on how to interact with, plan for and respond to internal account managers who manage customer relationships
* Develop processes to manage the review and assessments of Customer contracts for acceptable language; collaborating with Dell Legal as an expert resource in the negotiation of acceptable Security contract provisions/language with the customers legal team
* Define or support reporting and dashboards to provide executive-level insight into the teams performance, showing how the team supports new business revenue and retention of existing revenue
* Build strong relationships with the PSIRT operations team, SDL (Secure Development Lifecycle) teams, product and application engineering teams

Essential Requirements
The ideal candidate will have some combination of people management, customer service, product knowledge and product security experience.
* 12+ years of related experience, specifically in Product Security Incident Response (PSIRT), Product Security, Security Operations and/or Information Systems with 4+ years managerial/leadership experience
* A true passion for customers and customer success
* Strong process management and project management skills (e.g. planning, organizing, monitoring and reporting on project activities) with ability to prioritize projects, tasks, and deliverables and manage dynamic priorities
* Ability to communicate customer-related issues in business digestible terms
* Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration across organizations and geographies
Desired Requirements
* Prior experience with leading, managing, and driving customer-facing security programs for a large-sized organization, or equivalent experience
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
* Proven knowledge of customer service operations and service lifecycle process, tools and metrics
* SANS GIAC and/or PMP certifications
