Legal Counsel - Channel Sales

Location: Round Rock, TX

What youll achieve

As Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for performing legal analysis and delivering legal advice and counselling to the North America Channel Sales organization. You will perform legal research for business needs, draft, review and/or negotiate legal agreements, and anticipate and guard against legal risks involving the North America Channel Sales organization.
You will:

* Draft contracts to enable channel sales transactions
* Support channel escalations and channel compliance initiatives
* Support channel sales operations enablement initiatives
* Provide advice and counselling to senior business leaders, focusing on competition law and commercial risk mitigation
* Lead and develop strategic initiatives designed to enable the channel business

Essential Requirements

* J.D. degree and at least one state bar admission
* 5+ years of experience with negotiating complex commercial/sales transactions
* Ability to assess risk and identify actions to mitigate risk
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade

Desired Requirements

* Channel distribution experience
