ROLE OVERVIEW

The Visual UX Designer will be responsible for championing the visual design transformation for the suite of Secureworks digital products. The right leader in this position will have a demonstrated passion for translating research-based customer behavior into strong visual narratives. Given the cross-functional nature of the role, this person must be highly collaborative with a discerning eye for detail and streamlining processes. The ideal candidate for this role pushes boundaries, inspires design-thinking, and leads strategic efforts by practicing both a hands-on and holistic approach to design.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Set a clear UX vision against business and brand objectives, along with a roadmap to realize that vision for the suite of Secureworks digital products.

* Build and translate product design guidelines to create a seamless customer experience across all user touchpoints.

* Tackle complex data visualization and technical projects through the collaboration and leadership of design, user research, product management, and engineering.

* Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand users and collect data needed to make design decisions.

* Be an expert visual designer who actively contributes to new processes, methods, and ways of thinking to an evolving, multi-disciplinary design team.

* Balance the long-term visual design strategy with the short-term to ensure the team has a vision and process for making design decisions.

* Lead by example through creating designs that inspire the extended design team.

* Participate in testing, research, and experiments to capture and understand real users motivations, goals, and pain points.

* Work alongside other UX leaders to evangelize design thinking throughout product, engineering, and management teams.

BASE QUALIFICATIONS

* Proficiency in Figma or Sketch

* Minimum of 6 years of experience in visual design with a strong command of design best practices

* Minimum of 3 years experience with SAAS design

* Fluency with modern design and prototyping tools

* Demonstrated capability in creating and maintaining UX design systems

* Experience using Pendo or other analytics software to measure design performance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Knowledge of cybersecurity

* Experience designing for complex, development-focused tools.

* Experience working in-house in an enterprise environment

* Management experience

* Experience using Miro

* Experience facilitating workshops
