Function: Manufacturing Engineering
Title: Part-Time Student-Industrial Engineering-Milan IL - 70313

The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Companys regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.

Your Responsibilities

* Provide quality, process and industrial engineering support to warehouse receiving, storage, picking and shipping operations
* Create and maintain training documentation for warehouse operations
* Design warehouse layouts for optimal material flow and reduction of travel
* Provide support to Continuous Improvement CI200 wage teams
* Assist with establishing labor standards including industrial time study

What It Takes

* Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or General Engineering degree; others may apply
* Must be registered as a full-time student at a local university
* Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
* Graduation date of December 2021 or later
* Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
* Background in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, power systems, etc)
* Knowledge of process and industrial engineering practices, systems and tools
* Knowledge of engineering systems, tools and databases

What Makes You Stand Out

* Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel
* Experience in one or more related engineering areas: industrial, production, methods, reliability, design, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, quality
* Experience in project management and business planning
* Experience with engineering tools, systems and databases
* Experience with line and process design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance and visual management tools
